If your child has electronics on their Christmas wish list, consider getting rechargeable batteries and a charger too. It will help the environment AND save you money. Some toys need eight or more batteries, which can add up. You'll spend less as you can recharge rechargeable batteries over and over!

PUT YOUR OLD SHOES TO GOOD USE!!!
Bring any type of shoe to school by December 16 (rubber band them or tie laces, no spikes or boots). The SHOEMAN (George Hutchings) cashes them in and uses the money to build wells in Kenya. Check out the website www.shoeman.org, to see exactly how he does this.
