Way to Go! For the 4th year in a row (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), Hollywood Elementary School has earned a Spotlight Schools Award.  The award is issued "for exemplary performance in closing the achievement gap, meeting high standards, and opening a world of opportunities".  Congratulations to all of you - your support and dedication are the foundation of the successes our 3rd & 4th grade students have on the ISAT.  Thank you for all you do for our students, school, and community!

All Kids is Governor Blagojevich’s landmark health insurance program that provides Illinois families with affordable and comprehensive health care for children, regardless of family income, immigration status, or medical condition. Higher income families may have co-pays and premiums based on reported family income.

All Kids covers services including doctor’s visits, immunizations, prescription drugs, dentist and eye doctor visits, hospitalizations and much more!

Stop Bullying Now! 
Information, Prevention, Tips for Parents and Children. 
The website has information as to what bullying is, what a victim can do, and what adults can do.  There are also 12 animated video episodes (called "episodes") that show children different situations in which someone is being bullied.  There are questions after each "webisode" to help you and your child talk through how to best handle each situation.  This is a great website for you and your child to spend some quality "browsing" time while giving them the tools to help themselves deal with bullies.
